| Our top mission is to promote the hammer throw at the youth level in America. We feel that the key to putting hammer throwers on the podium at the Olympics starts with the youth. Harold Connolly has been very active with the USATF in promoting the hammer throw. Recently his efforts have resulted in the addition of the hammer throw to the National Junior Olympic Championships and a reintroduction of the event to the USATF Youth National Championships.
